Cacao-Phony at Fairhope Chocolate Tonight
Fairhope Chocolate in Downtown Fairhope on Fairhope Avenue still has tickets left for tonight - get them now! This is expected to be a fabulous event at 7:00 tonight and proceeds will benefit the Eastern Shore Chamber Music Festival (ESCMF). The $45 ticket will get you 4 or 5 desserts, a glass of wine, and an hour of amazing music from world class musicians! Call to get yours: (251)928-7750. The ESCMF artists perform live, mesmerizing classical chamber concerts all along the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay free of charge to our audiences. ESCMF concerts pair contemporary chamber music with masterworks from the chamber repertoire.
Fairhope Pier Progress Update
Continued work is seen at the Fairhope Public Pier as crews clear, fraem out, and build a new bulkhead and parks area. More information on the master plan for the Working Waterfront can be found here.
The Fairhope Times reports that new benches have been installed on the pier as next phases of the waterfront project are getting going. Old benches were offered to sponsors; memorial plates to be transferred to new ones, we understand.
Notre Dame QB Riley Leonard visits FHS
This morning Fairhope’s Riley Leonard attended the Fairhope High School pep rally and spent time with the pre-K students. Be sure to look for him tomorrow as he quarterbacks at the Senior Bowl for the American Team - along side many other outstanding athletes! The game will start at 1:30 at the Hancock-Whitney Stadium and tickets are still available: Click Here. Fairhope’s mayor Sherry Sullivan proclaimed Saturday, February 1, 2025 as “Riley Leonard Day” in Fairhope. Read more here.

Check out the current play at Fairhope’s Theatre 98: “Dial M for Murder” now! An updated version of Frederick Knott’s tale of deception, jealousy, and murder that inspired the classic Alfred Hitchcock film. Tony and Margot appear to have a perfect life in 1950s London, until Tony discovers Margot’s affair and decides to plan the perfect crime. The tension builds in this murder mystery as Tony’s plans unravel, but will the police be able to uncover his plot in time?
