Market By The Bay Fairhope is Now Open !!!

Good news, seafood lovers—Market By The Bay is officially open again in Fairhope! After closing their original location on S Greeno Rd three years ago, the beloved seafood spot has made its return. They’ve taken over the space that used to house Dragonfly Food Bar, right at the corner of S Church St and De La Mar Ave. Market By The Bay has been serving delicious seafood out of their Daphne location at 29145 U.S. Hwy 98, just south of I-10, but now you can enjoy their famous dishes back in Fairhope. While there’s been some buzz about the reopening over the past few months, it’s exciting to see the doors finally open.

First Freeze for Fairhope Possible

Redzone Weather reports that Fairhope will experience chilly days and cold nights this weekend into early next weekend, with highs in the 50s and lows near or below freezing through Tuesday. A Freeze Warning is in place just north of us and we may touch the freezing mark any morning between now and Tuesday, so it’s essential to bring in pets, protect sensitive plants, and wrap pipes. Sunny days and clear nights are expected throughout the weekend and early next week. Additionally, hurricane season officially ends tomorrow, November 30, with no tropical activity expected in the next week.

Tamara’s Restaurants is still collecting gifts for children impacted by Hurricane Helene at a few Fairhope locations. In a post they said: Friends of Fairhope, We’ve experienced the trauma when a disaster hits. The children of the Carolina’s need our love. Toys for Tots Opportunity in Rock Creek

Another Toys for Tots Event: Rocking Around the Rock Creek is Coming soon! Sunday, December 1st • 12pm - 3pm, Something for the whole family! Including: Gingerbread Cookie Decorating, Christmas Putt Putt, Toy Drive, Brunch and Specialty Cocktail Menu Available. Free entry for everyone.

Fairhope Christmas Parade next week

The Annual Fairhope Christmas Parade in Downtown Fairhope will be on Friday December 6th at 7:00 pm. Heade downtown early for dinner and then join others to enjoy the parade that begins at the intersection of Morphy and Section Street and continues down Section to Oak Street. The excitement will build as more than 60 parade units dazzle the crowd in anticipation of Santa Claus’ arrival to Fairhope for the holiday season!
