Good morning, Fairhope! Our community has to much to be thankful for - and ways to give back! We have included some of those ways here and would love to hear from you all about any other opportunities! But first your funny of the day:

Thanksgiving Lunch Invitation

The Local VFW 5660 invites you out to Celebrate Thanksgiving with old friends, new friends, and family at . This is our 3rd year supporting our Veterans and community. This event is FREE to everyone. Learn more here: Fairhope’s VFW 5660

Lunch at Fairhope United Methodist Church

Fairhope United Methodist Church invites you to our annual Thanksgiving Day Community Lunch, a time for fellowship, gratitude, and sharing! This event is open to everyone in our community. Whether you're a member of our church or a neighbor, we welcome you to join us for a delicious meal and wonderful company.

How You Can Participate:

We need helping hands to set up, serve, and clean up!

Donate:
Contributions of food, beverages, or funds to support the lunch are greatly appreciated. Please contact Jennifer Myrick, [email protected], for more details on what is needed.

Tamara’s Toys for Children

Tamara’s Restaurants is still collecting gifts for children impacted by Hurricane Helene at a few Fairhope locations. In a post they said: Friends of Fairhope, We’ve experienced the trauma when a disaster hits. The children of the Carolina’s need our love. Let’s show our Fairhope spirit of kindness as we gather Christmas toys for children of all ages in the disaster areas! Learn more here: Tamara’s.

Toys for Tots Opportunity in Rock Creek

Another Toys for Tots Event: Rocking Around the Rock Creek is Coming soon! Sunday, December 1st • 12pm - 3pm, Something for the whole family! Including: Gingerbread Cookie Decorating, Christmas Putt Putt, Toy Drive, Brunch and Specialty Cocktail Menu Available. Free entry for everyone.

Fairhope Christmas Parade next week

The Annual Fairhope Christmas Parade in Downtown Fairhope will be on Friday December 6th at 7:00 pm. Heade downtown early for dinner and then join others to enjoy the parade that begins at the intersection of Morphy and Section Street and continues down Section to Oak Street. The excitement will build as more than 60 parade units dazzle the crowd in anticipation of Santa Claus’ arrival to Fairhope for the holiday season!
