Thank Ya Mama

Hey there, fabulous neighbors!
Buckle up, because this weekend is more packed than a minivan headed to soccer, dance, and three birthday parties before noon. We've got farmers markets, food trucks, festivals, and enough live music to make your Fitbit think you joined a band. There will be showers this weekend, but periods of dry weather so good luck to all the events !!!
And speaking of multitasking superheroes, don't forget: Sunday is Mother's Day! So whether your mom is a brunch enthusiast, garden queen, wine whisperer, or just really enjoys being left alone for five minutes, we've got events to celebrate her properly—and yes, some that don’t involve macaroni art.
Here’s your Friday funny: What’s the difference between a superhero and a mom? Moms don’t wear leotards while they save the day.
Read on for all the weekend happenings, and remember: if you forget Mother’s Day, you’ll be on the community watchlist... and not in the good way.
Now that you’ve had your laugh, cozy up with a warm drink and check out this week’s updates. Don’t forget—sharing FairhopeNow.com with a friend or family member enters you to win a $25 Kind Cafe gift card! Just email us at [email protected], and we’ll add your name to the raffle. – Anne Dorman & John Oldshue
