Downtown Fairhope Trick or Treat is Tomorrow

Fairhope is gearing up for a frightfully fun Halloween event tomorrow, Saturday, October 26th, as Downtown Fairhope invites children to take part in a community-wide trick-or-treat. The event will run from 10 AM to 12 PM, offering a safe and festive environment for families to celebrate. Children are encouraged to don their favorite costumes and visit participating stores for candy. Look for orange pumpkins in shop windows to identify which businesses are taking part in the spooky fun. In addition to the trick-or-treating, attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods to support a charitable cause. The Fairhope Police Department will be collecting donations to fill their patrol car as part of a drive benefiting Ecumenical Ministries, making this a perfect opportunity to give back just in time for the holidays. Don’t miss out on this festive and family-friendly event!
Soulful Deli Last Day is Today

Today is the last day for Soul Ful Deli Depot in the Chevron and Happy 71st birthday Mama Liz! . Mama Liz has been serving soul food in this location for ten years and five months. They will reopen in a couple of months in downtown Mobile.
FEEF Jubilee is Tomorrow

The Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation (FEEF) is gearing up for its annual fundraiser, Jubilee – Party at the Pavilion, on October 26th, with this year’s theme, “A Taste of Fairhope,” featuring food from local restaurants, music by Petty For Your Thoughts, and a silent auction. Tickets include dinner, drinks, and entertainment, with all proceeds benefiting STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) enrichment programs in Fairhope public schools. Over the past 27 years, FEEF has raised nearly $3 million to support projects like the Pelican’s Nest Science Lab, the Black Box Theatre at Fairhope High, hands-on science labs, and classroom upgrades. During the 2022-2023 school year alone, over $125,000 was raised through community support. FEEF, a non-profit 501(c)3, credits its sponsors and supporters for making these achievements possible. Fairhope Witches Ride
The witches took over the streets again last night, as more than 650 broomstick-wielding witches and warlocks—otherwise known as cyclists—zoomed through downtown for the Baldwin Humane Society’s annual Witches Ride and Ball. Riders donned extravagant costumes and decked-out bikes, spreading candy and chaos in equal measure. This year’s event was a smash hit, raising funds for the Baldwin Humane Society to help care for their furry friends.
