Outpouring of Love on Fairhope Now for Newcomer to Southern Football
We love a feel good story! Veronica Valli and her family moved here from Nevada last year. She is British and her husband is from California. While attending their first ever Auburn football recently game she held up a sign that ended up on national TV, sparking a lot of feedback from our Fairhope football fans. Many comments Veronica received were NOT positive - and that’s not our true Southern way! She has now posted an explanation that soccer (also known as “football”) is really her sport of choice and the supportive comments she is receiving are excellent! Veronica promises to learn more about our local football teams - and pick a side. Want to show our new Fairhope resident some love? She will be signing copies of her book, Soberful, at Page & Pallet on Saturday, Sept 21st, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. See more on Fairhope Now
Mary Ann’s Deli reopens just around the Block
You can once again stop in for a Michael T’s sandwich or Quiche of the Day at the beloved Mary Ann’s Deli! After being closed for several weeks, this long time favorite of Faiurhope’s is back in business in its new location. Just around the corner from its previous location inside The Mill (soon to be Apiary), Fairhope residents were happy to show up and support this favorite lunch spot yesterday. Learn more on the Fairhope Times FB Page.
