Fairhope Teen Goes Viral for Cleaning Trash Cans

A Facebook post by Donna Butler went viral with 16,000 views, 700 likes and over 50 comments. Donna recognized the hard work of Fairhope teen Douglas McIntosh, a local senior and football player, who is raising money for college by offering his services. Donna hired him to trim hedges and clean a garbage can, and he did an outstanding job, so much so that neighbors hired him too. His strong work ethic is impressive, and Donna highly recommends him—his parents should be proud. He can be reached at 317-652-1875.

Kids Donate Lemonade Stand Money to The Haven

From The Haven No Kill Animal Shelter - Big shoutout to Harry and Frank for their incredible generosity! These two amazing kids decided to donate a portion of the proceeds from their lemonade stand to The Haven, making a huge difference to our pets. 🙌 Their kindness and hard work will help the dogs and cats of The Haven. Thank you, Harry and Frank, for showing us all how a little bit of lemonade can lead to a lot of love!
