Fix’n Ferals TNR Program - Help Control the Local Fairhope Feral Cat Population!

The Haven is committed to providing a safe and effective solution to the feral cat overpopulation issue. Our Fix’n Ferals program offers a humane Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) service to help manage feral cats in your community. Here's how it works: 🔹 Humane Trap Rental: We provide a safe and easy-to-use trap to capture feral cats. 🔹 Spay/Neuter & Vaccines: Each cat receives a spay/neuter procedure along with an FVRCP vaccine and a 1-year rabies vaccine at a licensed vet clinic. 🔹 Ear Tipping: Cats are ear-tipped (a painless procedure) to show they’ve been sterilized and vaccinated. The $125 fee covers everything—plus a $100 refundable deposit for the trap. Important Info: Traps must be returned within 24 hours post-surgery. $35 no-show fee for missed appointments without proper cancellation (at least 3 business days in advance). Fairhope’s Earth Day Moving This Year

Fox 10 reports that Ongoing construction at Fairhope Pier has forced the Earth Day Mobile Bay event to be relocated to Mobile County due to parking and access issues, disappointing local leaders and residents. Fairhope Mayor Sherry Sullivan noted that despite offering alternative venues, the Earth Day Committee opted for the new site, citing limited parking near the waterfront. The park is expected to partially reopen by the Fourth of July and be completed by September, and city officials remain optimistic that next year’s Earth Day event will return to a beautifully renovated Fairhope waterfront.
