Construction Downtown

Great things to come - but lots of trucks and signs in Downtown Fairhope for now. Be aware that the construction vehicles at the renovation of Apiary and Little Bird, plus the work being down at Veterans Drive are causing some slowdowns. Check for closure signs and detours as you travel these areas. We are sure it will all be worth it once they are completed! Shuck Cancer is Thursday

It is almost here! Join us on Thursday at 6:00 for South Alabama's inaugural Shuck Cancer oyster tasting event! This event will feature bourbon tastings, live entertainment oyster and non-oyster cuisines and more! Proceeds from this event will benefit Access to Care Programs in Alabama that assist patients and their families access critical cancer treatments. The American Cancer Society directly improves the lives of people wih cancer and their families. Downtown Buildings Available

The previous hair salon at 212 Fairhope Avenue is now vacant and for sale - along with the old Pins & Pints building attached to the the back. The list price is $1,250,000 for the total of 2600 sq ft of space in the two units.

Fairhope Times reports that the historic Irwin/Sandoz/Jones house at 51 S. Church Street is now for sale or lease. Asking price is $1.9 million for anyone interested. The Cafe Viola restaurant most-recently operated there and closed abruptly last month.
