Around Town This Week

Good morning Fairhope! ☕ Whether you're powering through the week like a pro or still debating whether getting out of bed was the right choice, we've got the perfect midweek pick-me-up. From the latest buzz around Fairhope and can't-miss events to feel-good stories and a little local flavor, think of this as your hump day refresh. So pour yourself a cup of coffee, settle in, and let’s see what’s happening around the neighborhood. Because if Wednesday had a motto, it’d be: “We’re halfway there - living on caffeine and a dream.” 📬✨
But first, your morning chuckle: Why don’t oysters donate to charity? Because they’re shellfish. 🦪😄
Share today’s FN Newsletter with your coworker, your barista, or your aunt who texts in all caps, and we’ll enter you to win a $25 gift card to Kind Cafe. Just email us at [email protected] and say “I shared it!” Here’s to fresh starts, strong coffee, and the hope that your to-do list forgets about you for once.

Sewer Sytem Updates Impact Roads
The City of Fairhope is working to improve Fairhope’s sewer system. We know the Thompson Hall Road closures are inconvenient, and we appreciate your continued patience as the project takes a bit longer than planned.
Still Closed:
• Thompson Hall Rd. (Fairhope Ave. to Morphy Ave.)
• Thompson Hall Rd. at Windmill Rd.
New estimated completion: April 25, 2025
These upgrades will allow us to improve our sewer efficiency to better serve our community. Thanks, Fairhope, for hanging in there with us as we build a better, more reliable system! Learn more here

Adoptable Pets: Meet Louise

Meet Louise: Your Sweet Terrier Mix Adventure Buddy! Say hello to Louise, a 1-year, 3-month-old spayed Terrier Mix who's ready to sprinkle some sunshine into your life! This little lady is a burst of sweetness wrapped in a floppy-eared, tail-wagging package. With her soft brown eyes and a heart full of love, Louise is a young gal just waiting to bloom into the confident pup she's destined to be-with YOU as her guide!
Louise is a gentle soul, a little shy at first, but oh-so-submissive in the most endearing way-like a flower just starting to peek out of the soil. She hasn't seen much of the big, wide world yet, which makes her the perfect canvas for creating a masterpiece of memories together! Picture this: you and Louise exploring life's wonders, from backyard picnics to sunset strolls, as she soaks up every moment with wide-eyed curiosity.
This sweet girl's already showing off her social skills-she seems to play nice with other dogs, making her a potential pal for your furry crew. Louise is also a leash-learning newbie, trotting along with a wiggle in her step as she sniffs out thrilling new scents on the trail. She's a natural explorer, approaching every discovery-be it a rustling leaf or a chirping bird-with a cautious little hop that's pure magic to watch. Every day's a treasure hunt with Louise, and she's ready to uncover it all with you by her side!
What Louise needs most is a loving, nurturing home to help her shine. She's got so much affection to give, and with a little patience and a lot of cuddles, she'll transform into your loyal adventure buddy. Whether she's sniffing out a new path or curling up for a cozy nap after a big day, Louise's gentle spirit and eager heart will light up your world. Ready to be her hero and show her the ropes? Adopt Louise, and let the fun begin!
